If so, Bell Flavor & Fragrance is looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our team in Northbrook IL and lead the charge in protecting our employees' health and safety.

As our EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs that meet regulatory requirements and ensure the highest level of safety for all employees. You will also work closely with all departments to identify and address potential hazards, and provide training and education to employees on best practices for preventing safety and health issues.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement EHS programs that comply with all regulatory requirements and ensure a safe working environment for all employees
Identify potential hazards and work with department heads to implement appropriate controls and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions
Develop and deliver effective training programs that educate employees on safety work practices and procedures
Lead incident investigations and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future incidents
Maintain data bases and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS programs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
Professional Certification by a recognized Environmental Health and Safety body ideal (eg. CSP, CIH, CSHM, IOSH.)
8+ years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical environment
Membership to a recognized Environmental Health and Safety organization preferred
Thorough understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage employees at all levels of the organization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven track record of implementing effective EHS programs and driving continuous improvement
