The Position

Ashworth Leininger Group (ALG) is seeking motivated and talented individuals for the position of Environmental Engineer with at least two years of air quality engineering experience in our Camarillo, California or Spring, Texas office. This is a dynamic and challenging position, which requires that resourceful and clever solutions be developed to address complex environmental engineering and regulatory issues related to air quality and greenhouse gas emissions. ALG is seeking a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a professional role involved in either, emissions data management, emissions technology, emission inventories including greenhouse gas emission inventories, and/or environmental auditing. Experience in the U.S. EPA Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program and/or International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) programs is not required but is desired.

ALG is seeking energetic, talented, and driven professionals with excellent communications skills and a strong understanding of scientific and/or engineering principles to support our growing environmental consulting practice. This is a client-focused position; candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of engineering principles, strong written and verbal communication skills, and resourceful decision making. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to work independently to research and propose solutions to complex technical and regulatory challenges, and engage efficiently with colleagues and clients. All ALG staff are expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, which can be leveraged to expand our practice. Experience with database programs including Microsoft Excel and Access is desired. Travel is required, which varies based on client and regulatory requirements. Candidates may also be expected to support non-air quality related projects related to water quality, hazardous materials, and solid and hazardous waste. US work authorization is required.

The Details

Location: Camarillo, CA and Spring, TX

Minimum Education: BS in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Candidates with a Masters are encouraged to apply

Minimum Experience: At least two (2) years with direct experience in emissions data management, emissions technology, emission inventories including greenhouse gas emission inventories, and/or environmental auditing

Compensation: Comprehensive compensation package, including health insurance, profit sharing, performance bonuses, and competitive salaries. Annual salary of $80,000-$130,000 based on experience.
