The international technology company Ajax Systems opens a full-cycle production facility in Turkey for 400 employees.

Ajax Systems is the largest developer and manufacturer of security systems in Europe. The back office, R&D department, and two full-cycle production facilities are located in Ukraine. We invite HSE Engineer to join our team and oversee all the production processes in line with the company’s quality standards. This position is a key strategic role in the company contributing to sustaining and growing business to achieve long-term success at Ajax.

Location: Istanbul, Tuzla, DESBAS

Reports to: Quality Manager

Responsibilities

Review project documents for HSE requirements and develop site-specific HSE Plans

Conduct HSE training for all new employees and contractors

Inspect work areas, equipment, and Personal protective equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions

Monitor and audit contractor safety performance

Prepare HSE reports and metrics for management review

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE regulations

Assist in the development and implementation of HSE management systems

Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis

Review and approve Job Safety Analyses’s and Safe Work Method Statements

Perform regular site inspections and audits

* Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field

* 3+ years experience in HSE engineering or management

* Working knowledge of ISO 14001

* Strong understanding of HSE regulations and standards

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to develop and deliver presentations

* Having a B Class Certification as a professional Health, Safety and Environment course

* Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis

* Familiarity with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodology
