What you will do

Use your experience and expertise to develop environment, health, and safety (EHS) strategies to improve performance
Work in a global, matrix organization to lead Raflatac EHS professionals and other leaders to continually improve safety programs and performance
Contribute as a member of the Development, Operations, and SCM Management Team, the Global Operations Steering Group, and the Raflatac Investment Steering Group
Responsible for ongoing implementation of the global Environmental Management System and Occupational Safety & Health Management System according to the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards to retain multi-site certification
Responsible for implementing the Raflatac EHS audit program in line with UPM requirements
Serve as Raflatac’s representative on the UPM Business Area Occupational Health and Safety (BA OHS) network and coordinate with UPM Environment/Responsibility for annual reporting and other requirements
Advise Raflatac Management Team (RMT) regarding significant EHS matters and regularly report on EHS performance

Who you are  

You have a University degree, preferably in safety, environmental science, engineering, or another technical or scientific field
You have at least five years of relevant work experience in an EHS management role in a manufacturing environment
You have significant leadership skills in coaching, empowerment, promoting value-based culture, and the ability to relate to a wide range of constituents
You are an example of integrity and independence
You have good verbal and written communication skills
You are fluent in English
Significant amount of international travel required
