Job Description

Kraft Heinz Sustainable Manufacturing

The Position

As a company, we have developed an ambitious sustainability programme. From our international office we support our 40 production sites in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Australia/New Zealand to achieve our commitments. This means we develop and monitor programs related to climate neutral production, water stewardship and zero waste for our sites. We are looking for an intern who can support these different programs. This multidisciplinary position offers a wonderful opportunity for an intern to help us support our sites to produce more sustainable and will give you the opportunity to see how a sustainability programme is implemented at one of the largest FMCG companies worldwide. You will be reporting to the Head of Environment & Sustainability- International.

Tasks throughout the role can include:

1. Develop support tools for sustainability topics at our sites

2. Set up and support the implementation and monitoring of these tools

3. Overall support of the sustainability programme in manufacturing

Qualifications:

Job requirements:

· You are enrolled at a European university for at least 50% of the duration of the internship.

· You are at the end of your bachelor, or in your master’s degree:

· Engineering / Supply Chain / Natural science / Economics, or other related fields.

· You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.

· NOTE: EU working rights are required! (Either you have EU Citizenship or you are studying in the Netherlands).

Professional Attributes:

· Previous knowledge of sustainability / GHG emissions/ water management

· Above average experience with data management and analyses in Excel

· Experience with interdisciplinary teams

· Possess beyond the box thinking as well as ability to independently run and complete projects/ tasks

What we offer you

Duration: 6 months.

Allowance: 625 euros per month (40hrs, 5 days)

Location: Amsterdam

Please note that you need to relocate to the Netherlands for the internship.

Hybrid Policy:

Kraft Heinz has recently transitioned to a hybrid way of working, which means that we work 60% of the week in the office and 40% from home. That means you will be required to work at least 3 days a week from the office.
